You might recognize Lei, Gina’s maid of honor, whose wedding I had the honor of photographing back in April. I had a blast at their wedding, and everyone was so kind. I recognized many of the same guests at Pete and Gina’s wedding and they made me feel like family. Again, this was another fun wedding to photograph!

When it comes to weddings, weather is always a big deal. Leading up to the day of the wedding, the weather report was constantly changing. Always saying it was going to rain, but just how much we weren’t sure. I’ve learned to ignore what it says here in Vancouver because on the morning of August 17 it was perfect. The bridal party showed up with Gina and Pete at the UBC campus, where Pete saw Gina in her dress for the first time. Everyone was excited for the day to come and it was a lot of fun taking photos with with such an energetic group. After a short photo session, we headed to the University Golf Club for the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony, the reception was held inside the clubhouse and everyone headed in for a fun evening. The afternoon was full of dancing, musical talent, fun games, great food and even a flash mob (if you take a look at Brad and Lei’s photos, you might recognize some of the same guests dancing in it!). Overall, Gina and Pete had a great wedding and I am glad we were able to be there to capture it for them.
