It’s always a special opportunity to be asked to photograph one of your long time, good friends. Andrew was one of the first photographers I had ever met when I decided I wanted to branch into the photography world. He took me under his wing, answering all my questions and letting me assist him on various shoots around my hometown of Kamloops.

This year the roles have flipped and Andrew has asked me and Kezia to photograph his wedding this coming September. A few weekends ago Sam and Andrew came down to Vancouver to do some engagement photos. It was an awesome time as we location jumped from coffee shops to back alleys around Gastown and later headed to Stanley Park and into the forest. Andrew and Sam are great together and we look forward to further photographing their upcoming wedding this summer.
